As you probably know, A Spot of Luxury’s “Winter Wonderland” competition, (a magical winter holiday for four people in festive Lapland in December 09. This luxury four-night break includes flights, full board and all activities in Santa’s welcoming homeland), ends at midnight on Wednesday 27th May (this week).
Due to schools half term holiday, the draw will take place on Monday 1st June 09, and we will try to notify the winner the same day.
Please note that this is NOT an extension to the competition, but a one working day postponement of the draw date to enable our officials to return from holiday.

We were not surprised to receive this question, and there must be many people with the same concerns as to Gambling Commission regulations and our proceedures, so we are very please to be able to display Mr C’s question, and our response.

Hi,
I am interested in entering your prize draws but am slightly concerned about what happens if your competitions fall foul of the Gambling Act 2005. My understanding is that the question asked needs to restrict the number of people able to enter. Given that you basically give the answer away by stating the size or weight of the coin, I am unsure whether the competition would stand up to scrutiny by The Gambling Commission.
