A Spot of Luxury’s ‘Live The Dream’ competition is now closed.

At the close of the competition, our data confirmed that insufficient entries had been made into the competition for the house to be given as the prize, as stated in the Terms and Conditions 1.1.13 and 4.1.2, therefore Rule 5B will apply.

We can confirm that 70% of the aggregate total of the Entry Fees received is £11,540. While we understand that there will be many disappointed people, the good news is that there was only 864 correct answers, and the odds of entrants who submitted correct answers winning £11540 is very good.

The draw will be carried out by us and witnessed and audited by our solicitor this afternoon, and the winner will be announced on the News page of our website, as soon as the winner has been selected and contacted.

Rental Value of our Prize house

Many visitors to our £800,000 competition house have said that if they won it, they wouldn’t be able to afford to live in it.

If you would prefer to have an income from the house, we have been advised that the house has a rental value of £2,000 per calendar month!!

Last Open-Day before competition closes

Between 10.30am and 3.00pm this Saturday, you will be able to wander around our beautiful 8 bedroom house, and see first hand, the quality of materials and workmanship that has gone into the building of this dream property, and imagine what it will be like to live there, if you are the lucky winner.

Winter Wonderland

Despite the extension to the Lapland competition closing date, we are very disappointed to say that by the closing date the competition, we still didn’t receive enough entries to enable us to give the Lapland holiday as the prize. We didn’t feel that the alternative cash prize of 70% of the entry fees was sufficient, and have decided to cancel the draw and refund everyone’s money, but thank you very much for taking part.

We are very sorry for the disappointment and any inconvenience cause, and hope that you will continue to support A Spot of Luxury.
